Who would have thought at this age I would be living out on a farm in the middle of nowhere with my husband? I don’t think anyone thought I’d get married, to tell you the truth, because I’ve always had a rebellious streak and I loved being single while I was. But anyway, Mark’s a farmer and he’s got all this land in his family so I’ve actually really started growing accustomed to living out here on the land and handling animals and whatnot all day. I love the freedom that comes with being out here on our own and aside from the wildblue internet and the phone we’ve really got our privacy out here from the outside world. I’ve always been a bit of a loner and even though I like to do things my way I really enjoy just being in a quiet place with time to read. I think that’s why being a farmer’s wife is really growing on me. I think we’ll be mighty happy here the next few years.
